I’d like to recall, from 18 to 26 June, 2011 at Gorky Academic Theater it was a charity photo exhibition "I’ll fight!" The exhibition was organized by Charity Society “Commonwealth of Arts” and was dedicated to the Day of Medical Workers. The purpose of the photo exhibition was fund raising for blood hematology analyzer purchase (price 59 000 UAH).
It has long been no secret that it is difficult to collect donations at a photo exhibition. On the other hand, it is a great way to draw attention to the problem and to unite all like-minded people. It happened at this time. Organizations and ordinary citizens participated in fund raising for blood analyzer by throwing money to the special boxes, transferring to friendly charity foundation. First and one of the most important contributions in 9000 UAH, that opened the collection, was done by city mayor deputy Irina Georgievna Zaitseva. After that Nikopol citizens donated 9000UAH. Margarita Nikolaevna Gorbanenko (charity foundation "Nikopol kids") personally brought it to the opening of the exhibition. Modeling agency «PS Studio Model Management » donated 7000UAH by auction and action “Live, Sun” holding. Students of 7 g grade of secondary school number 112 collected 1500 UAH by charity fair holding. At the end of the photo exhibition, missing 15000 UAH was donated by foundation "Give life."
Money within six months, we gradually accumulated on the account of our assistants charity foundation f "I hope and believe" and walked confidently to the cherished goal!
So, the goal is reached! On December 14, 2011 blood analyzer was finally given to the Laboratory of Regional Children's Hospital and it will serve primarily for small patients of blood cancer clinic.
Besides, the deputy mayor, handing analyzer, has promised to resolve any future problems with accessories and reagents for this machine!
Margarita Nikolaevna, was unable to attend the gala event, but passed all greetings and request to kiss for three times analyzer :))) Galina Savelievna (head of the Laboratory) promised to groom it, cherish and kiss all the time! Because, it is so necessary to our doctors in the fight for children's lives!
The hospital management, particular the Director Alexander Lvovich Khitrik asked me to convey gratitude to everyone involved in this event, everyone who took the opportunity to take part in the exhibition and fundraising.
On a personal note, I want also to thank our associated charity foundation "I hope and believe," which took care of all problems, associated with registration of contracts, shipment of the analyzer into the Dnepropetrovsk, installation and commissioning of it. Thank you, friends! Good Luck!
