The baby was born on January 26, 2020 prematurely weighing 1600. Eight days in intensive care, then a month in the department for premature babies at the Mother and Child Center in Dnipro. The girl was very weak, with numerous health problems, she was not breathing, she was connected to artificial nutrition. But she fought with all her might and survived. She is now 1 year and 8 months old. Eva is developing normally and makes her mother happy. She was long-awaited and the only one with her. Mom then said "You saved my daughter, I am immensely grateful to you»!
At the age of 14, Natalie was diagnosed with oncology - acute lymphocytic leukemia. The treatment was long, painful, sometimes it was not enough strength to fight, it was very difficult, but the girl resisted and overcame this insidious disease because she was strong. Now Natalia is in remission, feeling well. She is already 16 years old. She went to study to be a seamstress, before that she really wanted to enter the medical college as a nurse, but unfortunately did not pass the scores. But she does not give up her dream and goal, and she will try to join next year. We are sure that everything will definitely work out for her.
Diana Shubina, Daniel Zaichenko, Lisa Grosheva, Artur Volovyk, all these children have one thing in common - they are special children, patients of the Nikopol Medical Center for Medical and Social Rehabilitation of Children. Diana has cerebral palsy, she needed money for surgery to straighten her legs (feet). Daniel - a sun child (Down Syndrome), diagnosed with Hirschsprung's disease - is a congenital malformation of the lower digestive tract (chronic constipation), this problem was solved, surgery was performed. Lisa Grosheva, also a sunny girl with right-sided hemiparesis, is always smiling. On the recommendation of a neurologist, medical treatment was prescribed.
Arthur, a child with congenital pathology of the spine. The boy is active and inquisitive. My mother turned for help to the fund to help with another operation on the spine. She set up a help group on Facebook herself, and caring people helped by transferring funds to her bank card to quickly close the fee. Lilia Kripak is a modest, beautiful, always smiling mother of two children. Unfortunately, she is no longer with us. In 2018, a woman was diagnosed with a tumor of the adrenal gland, a tumor larger than 10 cm was removed. After some time Lilies were diagnosed with a pheochromocytoma of the left adrenal gland. Also removed. And after six months, the symptoms recurred, the tumor grew again, grew into the kidney and metastasized to other organs. In 2019, surgery was performed to remove 1/3 of the left adrenal gland and metastases. An examination was performed, and it turned out to be an incorrect diagnosis. Lily had adrenocortical cancer. Then two courses of chemotherapy, but they did not work, and metastases formed in the liver. At that time there were more than 30. In our country, this disease was not treated because the drug for treatment was not registered in Ukraine. Lilia obtained the drug illegally, 100 tablets cost from 300 to 500 US dollars (this was enough for half a month). At a regular consultation in Kyiv, Lily was sent to the Shalimov Institute for further examination and removal of as many metastases as possible. A difficult operation was performed. duration 14 hours - removed spleen, kidney and part of the diaphragm. Then for a long time in intensive care, the struggle for survival, the kidney failed, was taken for hemodialysis. Enormous costs of surgery and resuscitation. But the disease was stronger.
