Another tender within the framework of the implementation of the grant project with the support of USAID The "Children of Nikopol" charity fund became the winner of the grant competition "Basic support of civil society working in the field of humanitarian response" 2023 (USAID project "Initiative of sectoral support of civil society of Ukraine").
This is our second organizational development grant.
We are announcing two tenders as part of the implementation of a grant project supported by USAID. The "Children of Nikopol" Charitable Foundation became one of the winners of the grant competition for organizational development of organizations of civil society (2019-2025, USAID Project "Initiative of Sectoral Support of Civil Society").
For a good cause, our little people from Nikopol, Sonya and Ilya, collected 821 hryvnias to support the Armed Forces.
The children wanted to help our boys who are now defending Ukraine.
Sofia and her friend Ilyusha started weaving bracelets and selling them on the streets of our city.
Generous Tuesday today. What is it for us?
And for us, this is an opportunity to share a part of our warmth, our funds, our time with those who need it. Generous Tuesday began with the fact that the Christmas flower bloomed abundantly in the office of the foundation. But also of such incredible beauty. Thanks to Fomin Lyubov and Valery Perunova, this flower settled here.
We got a call the other day
"Hello, good afternoon, Nikopol, how are you!? We are from Poltava Oblast, a kindergarten, have collected soft toys and some hygiene for little girls. We are praying for you, Nikopol! Stay strong!"
It was difficult to answer something. A lump in the throat.
Today, for the second time, our Polish friends came to visit us together with Olena Omelchenko Voshun.
They visit our city almost every week with humanitarian aid and for a dog shelter and for children and adults, wards of our foundation.
We were recently visited by a good man, Kristof Gullickson, an American, who wanted to support the Ukrainian refugees.
He made a $1,000 money transfer.
